Sunday School
Introduction

A traditional Sunday school program is available for children ages 2 through grade 12. Children in grades one through four will participate in the multi-sensory Workshop Rotation Curriculum Model. Classes are designed around a curriculum that is age appropriate and ably led by persons committed to the Christian nurture of the children. We are now adding a series of Celebration Sundays for Grades 1-4 where special programs will be held during the weeks in-between rotation themes. Note the Workshop Rotation Calendar for the details on these events.

Registration

To register your child for Sunday School, save the registration form (in the Forms section) to your computer, then fill it in, save it, and either bring a hard-copy or e-mail it as an attachment it to the church office.

Walking in Faith: Open to those in seventh grade and older, this class prepares youth for membership in the PC(USA). Beginning in September, interested youth meet monthly for fellowship and faith reflection. A year long program offers youth time to explore the history of the Presbyterian faith, provides mission experiences within the congregation, and fosters the development of individual faith stories.

Running in Faith: Students are encouraged to share their opinions as they reflect on important ethical questions and current events. "Ethics in Action" utilizes the dynamic curriculum prepared by the PBS program "Religion and Ethics Newsweekly." Teens in eighth grade through high school have a forum to learn about and discuss what people in the United States and around the world are saying and doing in response to issues such as Islam, natural disaster relief, religious conflict, end-of-life issues, and religion and politics. Engaging interviews, news clips, and background information are included in the DVD or videos and materials.

Pastor Rosanna was recently interviewed for an article about this program by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
