College Scholarships and Loan Opportunities
for Presbyterians


The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) offers three opportunities for financial assistance with college studies:

  • National Presbyterian College Scholarship - for young students preparing to enter as full-time incoming freshmen in participating colleges related to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
  • Student Opportunity Scholarship - designed to assist undergraduate students with their junior or senior year of college. Preference will be given to racial ethnic students seeking undergraduate degree with emphasis on the missions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in the disciplines of education, health services/science, religious studies, sacred music, social services or social sciences.
  • Samuel Robinson Award - for undergraduate junior and senior students enrolled full- time in one of the colleges/universities related to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

The Presbyterian Church, Synod of the Northeast offers scholarships and interest-free loans up to $2,000 per year for undergraduate students. This financial aid is need based. Contact The Synod of the Northeast at 800-585-5881 for further information.
